A reward of R250 000 was promised on Wednesday for anyone with valuable information that could lead to the arrest of the outstanding suspect in connection with the murder of a Polokwane businesswoman and her mother.
Owen, a Zimbabwean, uses one of the following surnames: Setsiba, Makutara or Mbedzi.
Four suspects have already been arrested in connection with the murder of Lizette Deacon (55) and her mother, Hettie (79).
Sophie Mmako, 51, the Deacons’ longtime domestic worker, appeared briefly in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday with Lazarus Mahlo, 41, the alleged mastermind behind the murders.
The case was adjourned until Friday for further investigation. The other two suspects, Casper Mudau, 35, and Advanced Amid, 30, also appeared in court Friday.
Lizette and Hettie’s bodies were found late in their car two weeks ago along the R37 at the Kushcke off-ramp, outside Polokwane.
