Four men posed as security guards when robbing jewelry store

Four men have posed as security guards and entered a jewelry store at The Pavilion Shopping Centre in Westville, Durban.

KwaZulu-Natal police are now investigating a robbery that took place on Sunday after the men entered the jewelry store and made off with jewelry worth an undisclosed amount.

Two of the men were wearing security guard uniforms.

Captain Nqobile Gwala, the police spokesperson, said that the men removed the shelves’ jewelry and fired bullets in the parking lot, but no lesions were reported.

Now a case of business robbery has been opened for investigation.
