Detectives at SAPS Kwanobuhle are urging the inhabitants to help them trace a suspect(s) responsible for the cruel killing of a blind woman, 55, in Kwanobuhle.

At about 09:00 on Tuesday, police were called to a house in Middle Street after a woman was found dead on the bedroom floor by her boyfriend and her caregiver.
Allegedly the caregiver had left Miss Thobeka Goxa at about 16:00 yesterday, the 05th of October.

The house was left locked. The caregiver returned with Goxa’s boyfriend this morning and found the kitchen door and the security gate wide open. There were no indications of forced entry inside the house.

Miss Goxa was found lying on the bedroom floor with stab wounds on her left side of her chest. It is not clear yet if anything is missing from the house.
It is further alleged that Miss Goxa would not open the door to anyone unless she recognized their voices.

Police are requesting the community to help them by exposing these heartless criminals responsible for the death of Goxa.

A murder case is under investigation, and anyone who can assist in the investigation is asked to contact SAPS Kwanobuhle on 041 978 8800 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111 or their nearest police station. All information is strictly confidential.
