Members of the EFF in Port Elizabeth were arrested by police on Monday morning when they demonstrated in front of a business where women workers were allegedly subjected to an underwear inspection last week.
Four EFF members protesting at JA Floral Distributors were arrested after police fired stun grenades to disperse the group of about 50 protesters.
Police in riot gear stormed a rally on Friday, removing hundreds of protesters by truck.
Four women working in the store were allegedly subjected to an inspection last week during which they had to show their underwear to one of the store’s female managers.
The inspection reportedly followed after the workers involved were accused of littering the toilets with menstrual blood.
