2,301 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa

2 302 new cases of the coronavirus have been reported in South Africa since Sunday. This brings the cumulative cases to 790 004, said Health Minister Zweli Mkhize announced in a Monday statement. 

58 new deaths (32 in the Eastern Cape, 5 in the Free State, 3 in Gauteng, 3 in KwaZulu-Natal, and 15 in the Western Cape) were also reported. The death toll is now 21,535.
