4,011 new COVID-19 cases in South Africa



More than 4,000 newly confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported in the country since Monday night’s report. 

The 4 011 new cases now bring the cumulative figure to 821 889, said Health Minister Zweki Mkhize announced in a Tuesday night statement.

Another 183 deaths were also reported. The death toll is currently 22,432.

Of the most recent deaths, 82 occurred in the Eastern Cape, 20 in the Free State, 11 in Gauteng, 13 in KwaZulu-Natal, 7 in the Northern Cape, and 50 in the Western Cape.
