Police are looking for another man who can assist them in the investigation for the murder of Lizette Deacon (55) and her mother, Hettie (79).
“The man, named Owen, is requested to report to the nearest police station, as he may be able to assist us in the investigation,” said police spokesperson Motlafela Mojapelo.
Owen, a Zimbabwean, uses one of the following surnames: Setsiba, Makutara or Mbedzi.
Four suspects have now been arrested in connection with the murder of the mother and daughter of Polokwane.
Mojapelo confirmed that another suspect, a 51-year-old woman and also an employee of the Deacons, was arrested in Polokwane this morning at 08:00 in connection with the murders.
The man and woman are expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court on Monday on two charges of murder, house robbery and kidnapping.
The first two suspects, Casper Mudau, 35, and Advanced Amid, 30, appeared in court on Tuesday on murder charges after being arrested last weekend. The case was adjourned until September 25 for further investigation.
