Three men entered the Badplaas police station in Mpumalanga in the early hours of Saturday morning and assaulted two police officers.
According to Brenda Muridili, police spokeswoman, said the suspects entered the police station at 12:39 a.m. and aimed firearms at two officers.
The officers’ service pistols were confiscated after which the suspects forced them to open the safe. “The suspects took a R5 assault rifle and money from the safe. They then fled on foot with the assault rifle, the two service pistols and the money. “
No one was injured during the incident and no one has been arrested yet.
