The EFF on Twitter has deemed a South African as WANTED.
Julius Malema, leader of the EFF retweeted a post of a learner from Brackenfell and deemed him as WANTED.
In another Tweet, Malema retweeted a tweet “This is DANTE VAN WYK, a Wanted THUG, He is very dangerous if you see him alert the police or EFF ground forces.”
Some EFF supporters claimed that he is “dead meat”.
This comes after chaos erupted on Monday when the EFF planned a protest in Brackenfell, Cape Town.
The EFF has also posted personal photo of the learner on Twitter.
Ramaphosa says in a statement issued Tuesday morning, what happened at the school brings back sad memories of the past that no one wants to go through again.
He believes that the focus should actually now be on matriculants’ final exams that are written in “unprecedented circumstances”.
Ramaphosa says allegations of racism against the school should be investigated. He also appealed to all involved to act with restraint and responsibility.
“We must not allow the incident at Brackenfell High School to be used for racial polarization.”
