In a statement, the FF Plus strongly condemned EFF supporters’ use of the “Kill the Boer” song at Senekal today and has laid a complaint against the supporters and Julius Malema, the EFF leader, at the South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC).
FF Plus says “this kind of behavior is unacceptable. Farm murders are a reality, and it is these kinds of irresponsible remarks and incitement undoubtedly play a role in farm attacks and murders.
The FF Plus already succeeded in 2003 in having the singing of the song declared hate speech by the HRC.
Julius Malema is also held personally liable for openly preaching hatred and violence. He even openly advocated a civil war before today’s court case on Senekal.
This incitement leads to fans being whipped into action, as was recently seen with the nationwide Clicks protest actions.
Julius Malema is not above the law and the time has come for action to be taken against him in the interests of everyone in the country says FF Plus.
