A warrant was issued on Tuesday for the arrest of Ace Magashule, secretary-general of the ANC, connected with the corrupt asbestos-roofed audit of the Free State government for which seven people are already on trial in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.
According to Netwerk24, the case stems from the R255 million asbestos-covered audit of the Free State government, which according to the state, was carried out in a “fraudulent and corrupt manner” between 2014 and 2016.
They face eight charges of fraud and 44 of money laundering. Sodi, Mokhesi and Zulu are also facing charges of corruption.
