It is not yet clear what the plan is if Pres. Donald Trump of America becomes too ill to fulfill his duties.
Although protocols exist for when a president is unable to perform his duties, the constitution does not provide clear guidelines on how to determine whether or not the president can perform his duties.
Vice President Mike Pence is first in line to replace the president. Second is the speaker, Nancy Pelosi.
