Thailand hopes to relax some of its containment measures for visitors who want to enter the country after no new local cases have been reported for 28 days.
This relaxation will apply to businessmen, workers and foreigners living in Thailand.
A government spokesman said those groups would be able to return and stay in the state’s isolation facilities for 14 days.
Medical tourists will also be re-admitted to treatment in their hospitals.
Thailand is also considering allowing short-term travelers from China, Japan and South Korea.
